The term “Feng Shui” can be used in Western culture for hip and trendy decorating tips or, possibly furniture placement, for energy flow. In fact, the ancient art of Feng Shui originated in China more than 3,000 years ago. It is also known as “Chinese Geomancy”, which tries to understand the relationship between Man and his natural environment.
If you are curious about this Eastern methodology, please join us as our expert guide, Diana Chua, takes us around town pointing out interesting architectural features that are Feng Shui-oriented. She will explain the significance of Suntec City, Orchard Road, the financial district, and Marina Bay Sands, to name a few. You will see these places with new eyes and find yourself quoting interesting snippets of information to future visitors!
You don’t want to miss the anecdotes about the things believers do to achieve balance, harmony and good fortune in their lives. Finally, we will visit a well-known Geomancy centre to learn how Feng Shui is assessed, charted, applied, and checked to ensure desired results. Optional FS souvenir: please bring $6 if you think you might wish to buy an item.
Please book through the website or send booking slips and cheques made payable to ‘The British Association of Singapore’ to the office. For more information contact Caroline firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 9028 8904.
