Pink Afternoon Tea
It was all shades of pink at the British Association's pink-themed afternoon tea fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Foundation held at the Capitol Kempinski Hotel.
Members mingled with a glass of fizz and then sat down to a delicious and beautifully presented pink-themed afternoon tea.
Following the afternoon tea, we had a talk from Tori about the Breast Cancer Foundation as well as a reminder to self-exam and book in for regular mamograms. Breast cancer affects 1 in 13 women and early detection can save lives!
Thank you to everyone who came along, together we raised $612 for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
A big thank you to Rebecca Loan for donating one of her beautiful pictures to the BA for the silent auction and congratulations to Wendy for the highest bid!
Also congratulations to Marella for winning Most Pink Person (pictured front middle with her prize) and to our raffle winners: Gill, Wendy, Rebecca and Marella.
Finally, a huge thank you to our organisers of this event: Wendy, Eva and Charlotte, we very much appreciate all your hard work, and to our partner the Capitol Kempinski Hotel for working with us to make the event a success.
